1. Liverpool Family Fun Festival
28 -31 August
If you would like to take the kids and have lots of fun, Otterspool is your place; There´ll be rides, attractions, donkey rides, carnival games, inflatables, etc.
Don´t worry about the grown-ups, they also can sit back and relax with live music, drink stalls and urban food.

2. Gung-Ho! 5k at Aintree Racecourse
29 August
Have you ever seen the largest inflatable slide in Europe?
It´s called Thriller and it´s waiting for you at Aintree Racecourse.
3. BioBlizt at Knowsley Safari Park
29 – 30 August
Do you have a wildlife explorer inside of you?
You are in luck then! The Bioblizt is looking for people like you to find and identify as many different species of birds, bugs, plants and insects as possible.

Are you a Beatles fan? Then look no further, this is your activity!
The city will be packed with shows and concerts all around.
5. Liverpool Record Fair
28 – 29 August
Vintage alert!
The Bluecoat will be hosting Liverpool Record Fair so everybody can head down to School Lane and browse LPs, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, comics.

6. Hoylake RNLI Open Day
31 August
Hoylake Lifeboat´s annual Open day returns to Lifeboat Station on the North Parade.
This is a free event that will count with air displays, a funfair, raffles and even tours of the Lifeboat!
7. Mersey Tri Wirral Triathlon
30 August
Are you brave enough to take on the Tri Wirral Triathlon?
It´s organized by Mersey Tri Club and it consist of the following:
- Open water swim at West Kirby marina
- 21k cycle
- 6k run

8. Old Dock 300 Festival
25 – 31 August
Everybody is aware of Liverpool´s maritime past but in case you´d like to learn some more, the Old Dock 300 Festival is marking the 300th anniversary of the city´s historic Dock.
The Merseyside Maritime Museum and the Museum of Liverpool will hold arts and crafts sessions, sketching sessions and even a tour of “Georgian Liverpool”.
9. Hoylake Beer Festival
28 – 31 August
After all these activities we have offered you, I´m sure you are thirsty and I don´t blame you!
To satisfy your needs Hoylake is hosting a 4-day beer festival for all beer fans.
65 different beers, ciders and wines are some of the things you´ll see.
10. Ormskirk Motorfest
30 August
Ormskirk is already filled with rally, vintage and novelty cars for the Motorfest.
It´s a very popular event for all ages that´ll count with a huge number of motorcycles, super cars, classics and bubble car, all of them displayed the town center and in Coronation Park
