Ok, you may have already missed the Christmas lights switch on the 7 of November, but that doesn’t mean there is nothing else to see.
We all know that this time of the year is meant to be shared with your loved ones, what a better place to do so than Liverpool?
Christmas Markets
Fancy some Christmas shopping? Then walk around the Christmas markets on Lord Street and Paradise Street, they will be there for you from November 20 until December 19. Don’t miss it!
If it is food and craft products what you are looking for, Williamson Square will hold a Winter Arts Market on December 6 and 7 (10 am – 5 pm). You will be able to find handmade jewellery, paintings, decorations, cards and photography among others.
Ice Festival @ Liverpool One
The Liverpool One ice rink is here once again since November 7 until January 4.
If ice skating is not your thing don’t worry because the ice bar will be there for you as well, so do not hesitate, in case you want to keep warm head towards the Alpine-themed café bar.
Oh and don’t forget, the UK’s only real ice slide is here in Liverpool with different choices for adults and children.
Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday, 11-9pm (last skate session at 8pm).
Friday to Saturday, 11-10pm (last skate session at 9pm).
Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, 11-7pm (last skate session at 6pm). Closed Christmas Day.
Snowflake trail
Keep your eyes open because the city centre has turned into a frozen wonderland dotted with magical snowflakes. Everybody is invited to follow the Snowflake trail and try to spot the different designs and look of the sculpture, light projections, street art and magical window displays.
There will be plenty of maps throughout the city centre and participants will be invited to solve the mysteries with the clues provided to have a chance of winning prizes.
It will be running from November 20 to December 28, so there are prizes are still out there for you.
Santa’s Grottos
Every child in the city would be able to meet Santa.
For instance, St George’s Hall will host Santa’s Magical Grotto each weekend from November 15 to December 7, and then every day from December 13 to 23.
Have you been a good boy or girl this year? If so, join the festive treasure trail along in which visitors will meet some colourful characters.
Is it to have fun while doing some sports what you are looking for?
Then take a look at Liverpool Santa Dash which takes place on December 7.
Join about 9.000 runners on the most funny festive sprint around the city centre.

A nativity procession will take place on November 27 Mary, Joseph the angel, choir, etc…and real camels as well!
On December 4 and on December 11 you will be able to see real reindeers in town.
Lastly, if you are an Everton fan, there is no excuse for you to miss on December 18 the Everton Blue Christmas procession through town.
