Mersey Ferries Summer Evening River Cruises

Another continuing event from last month is the Mersey Ferries Summer Evening River Cruises.
Visitors can enjoy a two hour evening cruises complete with live entertainment and a bar – while taking in the world famous Liverpool Skyline.

La Cage Aux Folles

Liverpool Empire Theatre
Meanwhile, musical lovers can enjoy this new spectacular production of the much-loved La Cage Aux Folles.
Coming to Liverpool Empire Theatre this July, audiences will fall in love with the hilarious feel-good story of George and the dazzling drag artiste Albin.

British Style Collective

Arguably the biggest event taking place in Liverpool this July is the British Style Collective.

The UK’s biggest annual celebration of Arab arts and culture returns to Liverpool this July.

Brazilica Festival

The unique Brazilica Festival is also among the returning events in Liverpool this summer.
Celebrating the best in Brazilian arts and culture, the highlight of the festival is undoubtedly the night time carnival parade. Over 800 performers will flood the city centre with glittering costumes, floats and the irresistible sounds of samba!

Royal Birkdale Golf Club
The Open Championship will return to the Royal Birkdale in Southport this July.

One of the highlights of July 2017 is undoubtedly the Liverpool International Music Festival.
LIMF is a four-day celebration of new talent, big names, musical heritage, and cultural diversity within the city.
The grand finale of the festival is the Summer Jam at Sefton Park; Europe’s biggest free music event, featuring an array of household names and upcoming acts.

The National Theatre’s internationally acclaimed production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time comes to Liverpool

Exhibition Centre Liverpool
Gary Numan will perform in Liverpool this July as part of the ’50 Summers of Love’ celebrations.
Numan’s performance, one of just two UK dates from the synth-pop icon in 2017, will feature a career-spanning set of material dating back 40 years.

The British Gymnastics Championships are returning to Liverpool this July.

Music legend Brian Wilson will be wowing Liverpool crowds this July.

St George’s Plateau
Finally, the eighth consecutive year of Liverpool Pride will be taking place at the end of July 2017.
A free two-day event celebrating all things LGBT, this year’s festival returns to St George’s Quarter following a successful 2016.
The theme for Liverpool Pride 2017 is International Love, with organisers spreading the Liverpool message far and wide.
