The doom and gloom of January has finally passed! It’s a new month for new events, and there’s plenty going on in Liverpool this February. Whether you’re into football or music, there’s something for you. So keep reading this post to find out more.
Barclays FA Women’s Super League Merseyside Derby: 9th February
For the first time ever, Goodison Park will host the Barclays FA Women’s Super League Merseyside derby. The historic clash between Everton and Liverpool will take place on Sunday 9th February, with kick-off at 2pm.
This is the second time the women’s derby has been hosted at a first-team stadium, following Everton’s 1-0 victory at Anfield in November 2019. Everton’s ongoing commitment to allowing Season Ticket, Lounge and Official Members free access to women’s games will continue for this fixture. Members will need to claim a ticket and select their seat in advance. Non-members can purchase a ticket for £6 and £3 for over 65’s and juniors.
If you’d like a pie and pint or soft drink on arrival, you can purchase a premium admission ticket for £10. This also includes access to a cash bar in The People’s Club Lounge and a premium seat located within the Sir Philip Carter Park Stand.
If you are heading to Goodison Park, or even Anfield Stadium just down the road, our apartments are no more than a 15-minute drive away. There is also easy access to transport links, including buses and taxis. Our helpful reception team can even arrange a taxi for you!
